SPAX T-STAR plus Trim Head fasteners with white and yellow HCR (High Corrosion Resistance) coating are designed for interior and exterior wood connection applications often found around residential dwellings. These finishing trim fasteners are intended to countersink for a clean flush and near-hidden finish. Cold-rolled carbon steel wire heat is treated to grade 5 durability and coated with a white or yellow HCR (High Corrosion Resistance) coating system. These products will be used in exterior and interior applications, fastening materials such as composite wood, and PVC trim products (e.g., AWPA UC1 UC4A, UCFA). SPAX recommends stainless steel for applications, including cedar and redwood substrates.
