The Westinghouse T5 Ballast Bypass Linear LED light bulb (5000K) can be installed anywhere you would use a 46 inch T5 fluorescent bulb, including 54 watt T5 HO linear fluorescents. Operates with direct line voltage, no socket replacement necessary, just bypass the ballast and install. Knowledge of fluorescent lighting fixtures and electrical systems is required for ballast bypass wiring. Turns on without flickering, provides brightness and color quality comparable to fluorescent bulbs, and lasts up to 2.5 times longer.
